Spring Exhibition Opening Reception and Advocacy for the Arts Meeting
March 30th, Please consider joining us to celebrate your work and the vibrancy of the arts in Wisconsin. Anne Katz from Arts Wisconsin and representatives of local and state government as well as arts groups will be joining us. We hope to share the amazing things happening in Racine surrounding arts and culture. The state budgeting sessions will be coming up in June. Let’s not wait to show how much the arts mean to Racine.

Dreaming in Public, the Emmy winning documentary on the arts by our own Peter O’Keefe will be screened at the Golden Rondelle on April 20th, 2107. Please come out to see both the first segment that won the Emmy and the soon to be completed second segment.

Meet Your Neighbors
Born into an aviation family, Eric Rench first steered a plane at 4 years old. He joined the Air Force in 1982; but it wasn’t until 1996 that he obtained his official pilot’s license, even though he had been flying airplanes unofficially his whole life. Eric, employed at SC Johnson in their Aviation Maintenance department, now flies all over the world.

Peter O’Keefe’s documentary has been nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in a Documentary Program. “Dreaming In Public” about two South Bend artists was directed and co-produced by Peter with Andrea and Donnie Rogers at Grass Roots Media.
